Seeds of Japan’s Premium Musk Melon
The crown jewel of melons, musk melons, must embody three essential qualities: a rich, musky aroma, melt-in-your-mouth sweetness, and smooth, velvety flesh. After extensive exploration and evaluation of premium musk melon varieties cultivated in Japan, we discovered a variety that perfectly balances an exquisite fragrance with tender flesh.
To ensure consistent flavor and quality, we take great care not to reuse seeds from harvested melons for subsequent cultivation. Instead, we source F1 hybrid seeds (single-generation hybrids) from trusted seed suppliers for every planting season.

While Vietnam is often associated with a hot and humid climate, we discovered an arid desert region perfectly suited for cultivating musk melons. This area features large temperature differences between day and night and a short rainy season—an ideal environment to meet the precise needs of musk melon cultivation.

Finding the perfect location alone isn’t enough to produce premium musk melons. That’s why we partnered with an Organic JAS-certified farm equipped with the facilities, systems, and dedication needed to realize sustainable organic agriculture. These farms share our passion for cultivation, ensuring every step reflects our commitment to quality and sustainability.
Organic Fertilizers and Meticulous Management
100% Organic Farming, Packed with Nature’s Goodness
Danny Green’s organic musk melons are grown in soil enriched with high-quality, naturally derived organic fertilizers made on the farm. Even the water used for irrigation is infused with liquid organic fertilizers, ensuring the melons are nurtured in an entirely natural environment.
Hand Pollination and Rigorous Growth Supervision
Unlike the common method of pollination using bees, our melons are pollinated by hand, enabling precise growth control. Additionally, to protect the melons from pests during cultivation, we utilize organic pesticides crafted from vegetables grown on the farm, ensuring a sustainable and natural approach to pest management.
“One Tree, One Fruit” for Condensed Nutrients
To achieve unparalleled flavor, we adopt the luxurious “one tree, one fruit” cultivation method. By carefully adjusting temperature and moisture levels and leaving only one melon per plant, all nutrients are concentrated into a single fruit. This allows the musk melon to ripen to perfection, resulting in its exceptional sweetness and rich taste.
Certified Organic Facilities
At our processing facilities, the journey of our musk melons begins with ripening to perfection, enhancing their rich aroma and melt-in-your-mouth texture. Once they have reached their peak, the melons are peeled, seeded, cut, flash-frozen, and carefully packed before being shipped to Japan.
To be truly called organic, it is not enough for the farm alone to meet certification standards; the processing facility must also hold “Organic JAS Certification.”
